Prompt licence and terms
This is the agreement between you and Thanor AI, [legal name and registered address of the supplying company], about what you may do with the prompts in the library. It is written to be read once, in full, by the person paying for it. If something here is not clear, ask at [contact email for licence questions] before you buy rather than after.
What you are buying
A plan opens the prompt library for as long as the plan runs. A prompt is a written art direction: a palette with values, a type scale, motion with named curves and durations, and a section by section structure, meant to be pasted whole into an assistant or a builder. You are buying access to that text. You are not buying software, a hosted site, a template repository or a design service.
Every paying plan opens the same library. The difference between them is how long you keep it and, on the 3 month plan, a fair-use limit of three prompt copies a day. That limit is counted by the server, resets at midnight UTC and does not carry over.
What you may do with a prompt
- Use it for your own work, for an employer, or for a paying client. There is no separate commercial licence and no seat count. The same plan covers all three.
- Change it. Rewrite it, cut it down, merge two of them, feed it to whichever model you like.
- Keep and sell what you make with it. The websites, interfaces and images that come out the other side are yours. Nothing is licensed back to us, we take no share, and there is no mark or credit on anything you produce.
- Keep the prompts you have already copied. A prompt you copied is text you now have. Ending a plan closes the library; it does not reach into your editor, your notes or the work you shipped.
What you may not do
- Resell or redistribute the prompts themselves, in any form: as a library, a pack, a template bundle, a course handout, a Notion page, a public repository or a dataset. Sell the work, not the source.
- Share your account. One plan is one person. If several people need the library, each needs a plan.
- Bulk-extract the catalogue by script, automation or by working around the daily limit. The limit is the fair-use control the shortest plan is priced against, and evading it is a breach of this licence rather than a clever trick.
- Train a model on the library in order to reproduce or substitute for it.
If we believe an account is doing one of these, we will write to you first. We close an account outright only for repeated or deliberate breach, and a plan closed that way is refunded for the part of the term not used.
What happens when a plan ends
The paid designs close and the account falls back to what a free account has, which is the whole library to browse and the designs marked free to copy. Your shortlist stays yours and your account stays open with nothing to pay. Nothing is deleted. What you lose is the ability to copy more, including the designs added after you leave.
The lifetime plan is one payment with no renewal, and it keeps the library open to you, including everything added afterwards, for as long as Thanor runs. What it cannot honestly promise is that a company runs forever. If Thanor stopped, a lifetime licence would stop with it. That is the risk every one-time purchase carries and it is stated here rather than left to be discovered.
What we do not promise
- A specific result from a model. The same prompt run twice is never identical, and models change underneath everybody. What a prompt is written to hold is the structure, the palette and the type. If what you get is unrecognisable, that is a fault worth reporting and usually one we fix for everyone.
- That a design resembles any particular website.Prompts describe directions, not other people's brands. You are responsible for what you ship, including anybody else's trademarks or copyright in it.
- That the catalogue stays fixed. Designs are added continuously, and occasionally one is withdrawn or rewritten. Copies you already took are unaffected.
Payment
Prices are in US dollars and are shown in full on the pricing page before anything is charged. The 3 month and yearly plans renew until you stop them; the lifetime plan does not renew at all.
No payment provider is connected to Thanor yet, so nothing on the site can currently take money. The clauses about refunds, invoices and tax that belong here will be written when the provider is chosen, because writing them now would mean inventing the terms of a processor we have not signed with. Until then there is nothing to refund, because there is nothing to pay.
Your account and your data
What we store about you, and why, is in the privacy notice. In short: an email address, a name if you give one, your plan, your shortlist, and a server-side record of which paid prompts you copied and when, which exists to count the daily limit and to answer you if the count ever looks wrong. We do not see what you build with a prompt. There is nothing in this product that could look.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that takes something away from you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and a plan already paid for runs to the end of its term on the terms you bought it under. Corrections to wording that change nothing about what you may do are made quietly and dated at the top of this page.
Law
