This is the part most price pages break into three columns and withhold from two of them. We do not, because a library you can only half open is a library nobody finishes a project with.

What a site costs, the other ways

A custom landing page from a freelancer typically costs $500 to $3,000. Lifetime is $299, once, for every site you build after it. Thanor is not a finished site: it is the art direction your AI builder works from, so you still bring the builder, the content and the review.

Before you decide

The awkward half of each answer is the first half. If something here is not covered, ask before you pay rather than after.

Do the cheaper plans open a smaller library?

No. All three open the same library and everything we add to it afterwards, the Thanor MCP included. What you are choosing is how long you keep it, not how much of it you get. The only difference in what you can do is the fair-use cap on the monthly plan, and that is a rate rather than a smaller catalog.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, if you have never had a plan: Monthly and Yearly start with 3 days free. Your card is taken at checkout and the first payment is charged when the free days end, unless you cancel before then from your plan page. During the free days Yearly allows 10 prompt copies a day, and copies become unlimited with the first payment. Lifetime is a single payment and has no trial.

What is $299, really?

Not a finished site: it is the art direction your AI builder works from, so you still bring the content, the builder and the review. Against the other ways of getting a site that looks expensive, it is less than the low end of a typical freelance quote for one landing page, which usually runs $500 to $3,000, and a small fraction of a studio-built marketing site at $10,000 to $35,000. Lifetime is one payment for the whole library and every design we add afterwards, used on as many of your own and your clients' sites as you build. What a client pays you is yours to set, so we make no promise about it. The ranges are typical public rates from Dribbble, Upwork and Clutch as of October 2026.

What is the fair-use cap, in practice?

On the monthly plan you can copy three prompts a day. Browsing the library, filtering it, opening a design, watching the preview and saving one to your shortlist are all free and always have been; only pressing copy on a paid design counts. It resets at midnight UTC, it is not a balance, and nothing carries over to tomorrow. The yearly and lifetime plans have no cap at all.

Why is there a cap on the short plan?

Because the whole library can be taken in a weekend. A single month with no limit is a way to buy the entire catalog once and leave, and if that worked we would have to stop adding to it. Three a day is more than anyone building a real site gets through and it keeps the shortest rung honest. We would rather say that out loud than quietly rate-limit you and call it a technical issue.

What happens when I hit the cap?

The copy button waits until tomorrow. Nothing else changes: you keep browsing, you keep opening designs, your shortlist stays, and the designs you have already copied are still in your editor where you pasted them. If three a day is genuinely not enough, the yearly plan is both uncapped and cheaper per month.

Can I use the prompts for paying clients?

Yes, on every plan. Build whatever you like with them, for yourself or for a client, ship it and charge your own rate. Nothing is licensed back to us and there is no mark on anything you make. The one thing you may not do is resell the prompts themselves, as a library or a pack or a course handout. Sell the work, not the source. Both halves of that are written out properly in the license at /terms, so you have something to show a client who asks.

What happens when a subscription ends?

The paid designs close. You go back to what a free account has, which is the whole library to browse and the designs marked free to copy. Your shortlist stays yours and your account stays open with nothing to pay. Nothing is deleted and you can start again later at whatever the price is then.

Do the prompts I have already copied stay usable?

Yes, permanently. A prompt you copied is text you now have, in your editor or your assistant or your notes, and the sites you built with it are yours. Ending a plan closes the library, it does not reach into your work. What you lose is access to copy more, including the new designs that land after you leave.

What does lifetime actually commit to?

One payment, no renewal, and the library stays open to you for as long as Thanor runs, including every design we add after you buy. The card also lists early access, and that one is a commitment rather than a thing you can use today: nothing is released in stages at the moment, so right now every plan sees a new design the hour it goes in, and the lifetime plan is the one that will see it first once staggering starts. What lifetime cannot honestly promise is that a company runs forever. If Thanor ever stopped, a lifetime license would stop with it, which is the same risk every one-time purchase carries and is worth knowing before you pick the cheapest column per year rather than the one you can cancel.

Does the Thanor MCP work today?

Yes. Connect Thanor to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and the library answers from inside the assistant you work in: search the catalog, pull a full art direction and use it where you are building, without the clipboard. It is listed in the Claude connectors directory, it is included in every paying plan at no extra cost, and the copies it hands over come out of the same daily allowance as the website. The setup takes a minute from the MCP page in your account.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the other major networks), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, through Stripe's secure checkout. Prices are in US dollars; your bank converts them if your card is in another currency. We never see or store your card details.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes. Stripe emails a receipt for every payment, and subscription invoices are in the billing portal, which you open from your plan page with Manage plan. If you need a company name or a VAT number on an invoice, write to support@thanor.ai.

How do I cancel?

The monthly and yearly plans renew until you stop them. Stopping one keeps it working to the end of the term you have already paid for, then the account falls back to free with nothing to pay. The lifetime plan has no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. To stop a renewal, open your plan page and press Manage plan: it opens the billing portal, where you can cancel, change the card or take a receipt. An email to support works as well.

Can I get a refund?

On your first payment, yes: if Thanor is not for you, write to support@thanor.ai within 7 days of that payment and we refund it in full. Renewals are not refunded, but you can stop a renewal at any time before it happens. The details are in the terms at /terms.

Not ready to decide?

The library is browsable by anyone, and the designs marked free are genuinely free with an account: the prompt itself, no card. A design whose prompt is still being written is marked Soon and cannot be copied by anybody, on any plan. Go and read a finished one properly before you weigh this page up.
